United Methodist Women will move into four new priority areas for our mission work in this quadrennium. Our petitions to General Conference will focus on continuing our existing work and will build on these new priority areas: Climate Justice, Maternal and Child Health, Ending Mass Incarceration and Economic Inequality
Our foremothers left us a legacy of innovative mission, and we continue that legacy by being the organization the world needs today.
Until poverty, violence, inequality, racism, preventable deaths cease,
In the 21st century, the church and the world need United Methodist Women.
until women and children are no longer marginalized,
until we live in a world in which all thrive,
women need to be organized for mission.
