General Conference Day 6—United Methodist Women Day!

United Methodist Women Day at General Conference 2016

United Methodist Women celebrated United Methodist Women Day at General Conference Monday, May 16. The day kicked off with a beautiful deaconess consecration, followed by an action for clean water for all. In the afternoon plenary we celebrated our almost 150th birthday and reminded the Church of our great work past, present and future. We ended the day with a meet-and-greet to celebrate the members and friends who joined us for the day.

Here are links to all of our stories about the day. Enjoy! And thank you for putting faith, hope and love into action in your communities every day.
