Celebrate Earth Day With New Resources

Reflect, Connect and Mobilize With Resources for Earth Day 2018

Celebrate Earth Day With New Resources

April 22 is Earth Day, and in 2018, it falls on a Sunday! Is your United Methodist Women group ready to celebrate God’s good creation? Climate Justice is an issue priority for United Methodist Women — and for another year, United Methodist Women has co-funded the 2018 Earth Day Sunday resource produced by Creation Justice Ministries.

The 2018 theme is "Sense of Place" and offers insights about living in harmony with local ecosystems and watersheds, rightly sharing places with a diversity of peoples, and respecting the history of your place.

Use this year’s resource to be equipped with study, preaching, teaching, prayer and action materials at www.earthdaysunday.org. To connect with others who are planning Earth Day Sunday activities, join the Earth Day Sunday 2018 Facebook event. United Methodist Women partners with Creation Justice Ministries and provided funding for this resource—we hope you will find these materials useful!

Creation Justice Ministries offers Christian education materials to equip faith communities to protect, restore, and more rightly share God's creation.
