Completing the United Methodist Women Membership Census 2017

United Methodist Women Conference presidents are urged to complete the 2017 annual census report by March 30, 2018.

Are we still using the Census Excel Spreadsheet to report the unit's number?  
The census has been paperless for three years; we are using an online format to enter data.

Where is the 2017 census form located?
The census link is located on the main United Methodist Women webpage. The instructions and link are also found in the forwarded e-mail from your District Membership, Nurture and Outreach leader.

When is the census released?
The census is released every year and sent out to all Conference Leadership on October 1st and is due by March 30th of the following year. 

Is there a simple step by step instruction sheet on how to report the unit membership numbers?

I am having a problem finding my Church on the census form?
If you have any difficulties finding your church information, please contact the Office of Membership at 212-870-3725.

How do my District Membership Coordinators figure out who has not responded before the deadline? 
Conference Presidents will receive a preliminary report in early March that can be shared with the district membership coordinators.

We are having trouble accessing the membership information units entered online. 
Please contact your district or conference leader after March 1st for a preliminary report.
Note: At this time, we are unable to accommodate the request for individual census updates; however, after the census is closed your conference and district leadership can assist you with your individual requests.

Is there a way that we can make corrections after the information is already entered? Or can we check to see if our unit's number is in the system?

After I entered the numbers in the census form, how do I know if you received the information?
A "thank you" message will appear on the screen as confirmation that your answers were successfully submitted to national office.
