Earth Day 2019: Children and Youth Leading the Way

Earth Day celebration in Tallahassee, Fla.

What are you doing for Earth Day? Are you ready to celebrate God’s good creation?

We are excited to share the 2019 Earth Day Sunday resource produced by Creation Justice Ministries with support from United Methodist Women. This year’s theme is "Next Generation Rising" and focuses on children and youth leading the way for creation justice, and it highlights United Methodist Women’s very own New Generation Climate Justice leaders! The resource provides preaching, teaching, prayer and action materials that you can use in your unit, district, conference and jurisdiction events or at your church any time of the year. You can download this free resource today by going to this link: https://creationjustice.salsalabs.org/modernsignupformcopy1copy2

This year’s Earth Day, April 22, is a day after Easter Sunday. While it may not be feasible for everyone to celebrate Earth Day on Easter Sunday, please consider finding a day convenient for your United Methodist Women or church.
