Regional Missionary Elmira Sellu
The virtual conversation series features leaders sharing their work and life stories, and highlights how United Methodist Women initiatives supported by your Mission Giving significantly improve the lives of women, children and youth around the world.
On Dec. 10 at 10:00 am EST meet Regional Missionary Elmira Sellu and our local leadership team of women from Sierra Leone Central Conference.
United Methodist Women supports and empowers local women in Central Conferences to be leaders in the church, their community and the world. Learn how women in Sierra Leone cope with COVID-19, create economic opportunities for themselves and their neighbors, fight poverty and hunger as well as gender-based violence, and provide hope to the poorest. The international work of United Methodist Women focuses on lifting families out of poverty by supporting programs that offer tools and training for women to become self-sufficient. Grants from Mission Giving provide funding that creates opportunities through economic development programs.
A Q&A session will follow the panel discussion. Future Voices from the Field conversations will feature other national and international women leaders.
