As United Methodist Women, we observe holy days and other observances with faith, hope and love in action. Reflections and prayers offer spiritual guidance; other resources offer understanding and ideas for action and advocacy. Join us in the holistic approach to our ministries with women, children and youth.
Women around the world nurture all those around them; they mother their families, their communities and each other. We thank God for mothers - in all interpretations - and celebrate their strength, resilience and love.
Each year we offer devotions and other resources for Sundays in Advent and Christmas.
On January 11th we pray to end slavery in all its forms. United Methodist Women also campaigns this time of year for awareness and legislative action to prevent trafficking and prosecute offenders.
Each February we celebrate the contributions by black persons to their communities, to the church and to the world.
Beginning with Ash Wednesday, United Methodist Women offers prayers and meditations for the Lenten journey.
